Florida Assisted Living Coalition is serving the needs of Florida by offering healthcare professionals education, empowerment and a network that is a home run!

In 2008, we launched an initiative to help seniors and disabled adults identify social services and financial entitlements that they just didn't know how to access. Since the onset of our initiative we have helped more then 2000 seniors and the disabled in Florida. We have done this without accepting a penny from any state funding sources. 100% of every dollar donated is used for the benefit of the organization and their are no administrative salaries to draw from.

Did you know that their are programs designed to help provide care for you at home or in an assisted living facility that can help you cover the cost?

HELPING SENIORS & DISABLED ADULTS GET FINANCIAL BENEFITS:

At a time when it seems harder then ever to make ends meet their are programs for seniors and the disabled that are funded and have been available since 1953, but since they are not well known they are under utilized. Allow us to help guide you to getting these benefits either by way of contacting the agencies directly or navigating the form /application process. Help is finally here:

  • We can Help Seniors and Disabled Adults find Adult Family Group Homes, Assisted Living & Independent Senior Living all featuring daily meals, care as needed and medical assistance. Helping you live in a safe, clean and supportive atmosphere monthly rentals available starting from $600 to over $5,000 a month.
  • At Home Care providing a Companion or a Caregiver from 2 - 24 hours a day, financial assistance is available to cover a portion of that cost for eligible seniors and disabled adults
  • Medical Equipment Delivered to the home for those that qualify [wheelchair/walker/cane, hospital bed, air mattress]
  • Diversion Prorgram,  $1200 a month, at home benefits or toward Assisted Living
  • MEDICAID WAIVER
VETERAN BENEFITS OF $1056 - $2007.00 A MONTH!
VETERANS YOU ARE ELIGIBLE to receive up to $1709.00 a month
Suviving Spouse of a Veteran is eligible for up to $1100.00 a month
Disabled Child of a Veteran is eligible for up to $1100.00 a month
Couples eligible to receive up to $2007.00 a month

To qualify you or your spouse or your parent would have had to serve in the Army, Navy, Air-Force or Marines and Reservists called into ACTIVE DUTY during at least one day during these times of war:

  • World War 1: April 1917 - November 1920
  • World War 2: December 7 1941 - December 31, 1946
  • Korean War: June 27, 1950 - January 31, 1955
  • Vietnam War: August 5, 1964 - May 7, 1975
  • Gulf War: August 2, 1990 - ?
You will need the following paperwork to support your Aide & Attendance Application. If you don't have it, in most cases, old records are avialble.

  • DD214 a/k/a Discharge Papers
  • Marriage Certificate
  • VET Death Certificate (if appropriate)
  • Birth Certificate of Child of Vet if applying for Child of VET Benefit
  • VA Medical Form (completed properly)
  • Plan of Care - medical condition status (Home Health Care) - Confirming homebound status (physical/occupational/speech therapy, wound care, injections, mental health caregiver services)
